Teaching Elementary Students Peaceful Conflict Resolution Strategies

Teaching Elementary Students Peaceful Conflict Resolution Strategies

Hi Everyone!

I have been digging around in some older resources and stumbled across this amazing mini-unit I created on peaceful conflict resolution strategies. I thought I would share with you, because this was a great unit for kicking off the year. The best part is that students walk away with some language to use when disputes arise in the classroom, which is always helpful.

Don’t worry though! If you’re finding this after the start of the year, this is still a great short unit to pop in whenever your students (and you!) need it!

A lot of this unit honestly centers around putting a bunch of different dispute situations in front of students and helping them to think up resolutions to those disputes, specifically PEACEFUL resolutions. There is some arts and literacy integration as well.

If this is all sounding interesting, you can learn even more and get this resource on my Teachers Pay Teachers store here.

If you have any questions about this resource, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

I hope you enjoy teaching this unit! I know my students loved it.

Kayla
